China Airlines has expanded its reach in Japan with the launch of a new daily flight service connecting the cities of Taichung in Taiwan and Okinawa in Japan. This move enhances the airline’s extensive network, driving up the total number of its Taiwan-Japan flights to over 170 round-trip journeys each week. The new route is served by the Airbus A321neo, a model known for its efficiency and passenger comfort.
The inaugural flight, CI310, takes off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and lands in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. On the return leg, flight CI311 departs Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., reaching Taichung by 2:10 p.m. These timings are designed to offer convenient travel options for both business and leisure travelers looking to explore or conduct affairs in either region.
In an effort to further bolster this new connection, China Airlines is set to introduce a second daily service starting August 13. This additional flight, CI312, will depart Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and arrive in Okinawa by 6:00 p.m., with the return journey, CI313, scheduled to leave Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., touching down in Taichung at 7:30 p.m. This increased frequency aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between Taiwan and Okinawa.
With the introduction of these new services, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa weekly. This enhancement not only boosts connectivity between Taiwan and Japan but also broadens the travel options available to passengers, underscoring the airline’s commitment to meeting the diverse needs of its customers.
